IntroCare is an Introductory Website that gives YOU control through a social network

We are a small team of Registered Social Workers and Registered General Nurses, who formed to develop the IntroCare site, when we experienced difficulties with the Personalisation Agenda.  Although we appreciated the concept, value and benefits of coordinating one’s own care, we were also aware of the many difficulties that people experienced.  Some of the issues raised included:

Access to a ‘pool’ of suitable Personal Assistants and a sustainable workforce.

Safeguarding and accountability

Criminal Records Bureau and vetting

Budgeting and Brokerage

Employer / Employee / Self Employed

Contracts

Contingency plan for PA’s absence / sickness / annual leave.

IntroCare helps to alleviate these problems by putting the client firmly in control of their own care arrangements.  Rather than clients having to make do with what is available, IntroCare helps design the care individually.
