The Laurels and Pine Lodge is located in the village of Oakdale, a quiet backwater of the coastal town of Poole. Surrounded by the stunning Dorset countryside, Poole town centre is within a mile and a half and the bustling seaside resort of Bournemouth is also in close proximity. Originally a farmhouse and workers’ cottages, the home has been respectfully modernised and extended in recent years. Set amidst its own pretty and secluded gardens, this home is both elegant and comfortable.

We have 54 beds and offer residential, respite, day, dementia and palliative care. Care is provided by our dedicated professional team of staff who are fully trained in accordance with legislative requirements and to QCF standards.

As part of our care package we publish a monthly programme of activities that is tailored to our residents’ preferences. There are always fun activities you can join in with; whether it’s baking, playing scrabble, enjoying an entertainer or a trip out for afternoon tea – there’s something for everyone!

Food plays an essential role in promoting heath and well being amongst our residents. Mealtimes are one of our favourite parts of the day and our catering team go the extra mile to ensure that all tastes, preferences, diets and appetites are catered for. All meals are prepared by our own chefs in our own kitchen, using fresh ingredients.
